Cram’s 16” Political Terrestrial Illuminated World Globe, Circa 1985. This large globe features a wooden atlas holder base with “Hammond Citation World Atlas” book. Globe can swivel up & down and can rotate 360 degrees. It has a analemma, a Ecliptic, shows ocean currents by name and direction, and has a time sail at the North Pole. This unique globe illuminate when plugged into electrical outlet. In very good flawless condition with NO chips, scratches or cracks. Base measures 14 1/2”x 10 3/4”x 2 1/2”, globe with base measures approximately 23” high. This globe was manufactured in 1985 before the dissolution of the Soviet Union in the 1988.
