SUPER RARE Antique Weber Costello 12” MOON GLOBE, LUNAR GLOBE METAL TABLE STAND. This is one of the coolest items I’ve ever listed! You are bidding on a RARE educational version of this lunar globe which came from a local school. The globe is housed in an aluminum tabletop stand with a faux hammered finish. The rim has a fabulous mileage scale shown in statute miles. I do not find a date anywhere so I’m guessing 1960’s. The globe is copyrighted by Weber Costello and the stand is marked copyright The George F. Cram co. See photos for these markings, The stand is in excellent condition with no major dents or scratches. There are a few very small surface scratches but nothing that would not be consistent with age and use. The globe is in good condition but has an indentation near the bottom which I have photographed for you. Also, I think there should be a plastic scale adhered to the equator but it is missing. Other than the minor flaws mentioned, this awesome antique still displays very nicely! Add this to your home with no reserve bidding! Sorry for the shipping cost.
