Vintage Replogle Black Globe Chrome 12" Diameter 1957-64

Description

1957-64 Replogle Black World Globe with a unique base. I don't know much about globes, but I can't find another like it on eBay or even a picture on Google. The black piece is made of wood. The knob tilts the axis. It's in great shape, I don't see any damage to the globe apart from some of the equator tape missing in the pacific, I don't see any scratches or gouges. It is sort of dimpled at the 2 poles, but I imagine that is normal for globes.
